Today I found myself tirelessly giggling about our Mia-Babes and her new word: SHOE. It's the funniest thing I've ever heard a kid put say-shoe is a great word anyway, but when Mia says it, the "sh" sound comes from the middle of her mouth, not with the front/ teeth -it's just hilarious.
We have a total bedtime routine, and after bath when I let Mia loose with her jammies on, she goes to the pile of clothes I have set out for tomorrow and picks up the shoes. She'll bring them to me and just say shoe shoe shoe over and over -man, I had tears in my eyes. I love my baby!

She went without shoes for so long...she is still fascinated by them--JK. the pic is one of the best I have seen of Mia Babes! Thanks for sharing, Mom
A girl after my own heart.
She is such a beauty! I cannot believe how fast she is growing up!
Very sweet! You should record her saying it, I kept meaning to record all of my kids' cute baby words and never did. Sigh.
I heard, in my own mind, my 2 year-old say shoe as you described it. Before we know it they'll be saying it right and I've got to remember to laugh til I have tears in my eyes when she says things in her little way.
Can I just say I have really liked your pursuit of happiness posts? I also really liked your comment on the book club. I think what you said is another one of the main thoughts that I had running through my head about that quote. I really hope my kids will never ever doubt my love for them. If I can take care of at least that then hopefully they can let the stupid things I do go.
