Angel

This little girl is my angel. She is such a helpful and loving big sister. I feel sometimes like I take her for granted -especially with her maturity- where I need to keep in mind much better that she's only five years old (six in a few days). Ella has been brimming with personality from the get-go, and though we often butt heads, I need to say; Ella, you are an absolutely amazing and wonderful little girl. I wouldn't change a thing.

She's a doll! I love how her eyelashes show up in that picture.

She really is a good girl! I am glad you see that. I love you both!

I struggle with the same thing. Alley is 6 and can do EVERYTHING. Make bottles, bbsit, change diapers, etc. It's so easy for me to say "Alley take Jace in your room" just when I need some time. Lately I feel like maybe I am relying on her too much. She is so eager to help and most of the time asks but I dont want her to stop liking it because I have her help a lot it seems somtimes. Oh well, we can only try and do better right? I'm sure when they are 10-14 they will be doing enough babysitting for us-we should save them for that!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way!! I always think (when I see her sleeping, of course), "Did I tell her enough today how much I love her and how good she is?" Motherhood = GUILT!! But still we manage to butt heads during waking hours. How is that?!?
